The yearly fundraiser supports the Toby Keith Foundation, which was founded by Keith in 2006 to provide aid to children and their families dealing with critical illnesses. Since its inception, the annual event has raised over $20 million, with last year’s contributions exceeding $3 million through the establishment of a new endowment fund.
