The first-ever TVFCU Southside Nights takes over Finley Stadium on Saturday, September 12, bringing together college football, live music and a full evening of family-friendly fun.

And yes — admission is FREE.

Tennessee vs. Georgia Tech on the Big Screen

Forget watching this one from the couch.

Tennessee and Georgia Tech are renewing an old rivalry, and you can watch the game on the big screen at Finley Stadium surrounded by fellow fans.

The Vols and Yellow Jackets kick off at 7 PM. Tennessee currently leads the all-time series 25-17-2, with their last meeting ending in a wild double-overtime Tennessee victory in 2017.

Official local alumni groups for both Tennessee and Georgia Tech will be part of the night, so expect plenty of orange, gold and good-natured trash talk.

The Essentials Live at 6 PM

Before kickoff, Chattanooga favorites The Essentials take the stage at 6 PM.

Expect a hard-hitting mix of classic rock, grunge, Southern rock, blues and a little country to get everybody warmed up before the game.

Get There Early

Gates open at 5 PM, and there’s plenty happening before kickoff.

Hit Food Truck Row, grab a beer or cocktail, and head onto Davenport Field for a family-friendly field day featuring lawn games, eight cornhole setups, a field-goal challenge and a dedicated play area for kids.

You’re welcome to bring a picnic blanket, find a spot and settle in for the evening.

There’s a Little Competition Off the Field, Too

Tennessee and Georgia Tech fans can help their side win more than just the football game.

A portion of sales from Vols Lager and SweetWater 420 will benefit scholarship efforts connected with the Chattanooga UT Alumni Chapter and Chattanooga Georgia Tech Club.

Finley Stadium and Friends of the Festival will donate 20% of sales of the competing beverages to the respective causes.

So technically, having a beer can help your team.
