Tenille Arts Thinks If You Can Relate To It, You Can Listen To It

Tenille Arts is making a swing through Florida this weekend on Lady A‘s What A Song Can Do tour.

She’ll be out there on stage playing her latest single at country radio for the fans – “Back Then, Right Now”

Tenille knows that no matter where the tour stops, there’s always fans there that can relate to her songs. You might think you’d only find country music fans in certain areas, but Tenille says, “I think it’s like the core values of country music and just who these people are that are listening to country and you know, there are small towns all over the place, so we all come from somewhere, and you might not be able to relate to driving a truck down a dirt backroad, but you can probably relate to all of the little small town get togethers and everything like that.”

Tenille jokes that even if the small town, and backroad stuff doesn’t get ya, there’s always the songs about heartbreak “I think everybody goes through heartbreak (laugh) so if you write a song about heartbreak it doesn’t matter where you’re from if you relate to it, you can listen to it.”

Tenille is about to have a whole bunch of new songs that fans can relate to as she recently announced her third album, titled Girl To Girl, will be arriving in October. She describes the project as “These 13 songs were written as letters to my current and younger self.”

Along with her smash hit “Somebody Like” and “Back Then, Right Now” Girl To Girl will also include “Over You Is You” – a song Tenille sings with Matt Stell.

They recently debuted the track during an appearance at the Grand Ole Opry.
