Watch Keith Urban’s Stirring Rendition of “Hallelujah” in Honor of Leonard Cohen

During his concert at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 11, Keith Urban paid tribute to singer/songwriter/poet Leonard Cohen—who passed away on Nov. 7—by performing Cohen’s most famous tune, “Hallelujah.”

Accompanied by his acoustic guitar—and with the crowd singing along—Keith performed one verse and the chorus of the well-known song, which Cohen wrote and recorded for his 1984 album, Various Positions. Keith posted a one-minute video of the performance on Facebook with the message: “RIP Leonard. And thank you for being a vessel of glory on high. – KU.”
