Joey + Rory, Jimmy Fortune & Shenandoah Receive Multiple Dove Award Nominations

The Gospel Music Association announced its nominees for the 47th annual GMA Dove awards today (Aug. 10), and Joey + Rory, Jimmy Fortune and Shenandoah each received multiple nominations in the country and bluegrass categories.

Joey + Rory and Jimmy Fortune both copped nominations for Country Song, Bluegrass Song and Country/Bluegrass Album of the Year, while Shenandoah earned nominations for Country Song and Country/Bluegrass Album of the Year.

The Dove Awards will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena in Nashville at 6:30 p.m. CST. Trinity Broadcasting Network will exclusively air the awards show on Sunday, Oct. 16.
